Dear Future Client,

Thank you for visiting our website. Whether you are new to mental health or you’ve been working on becoming your best self, it is our mission to help you achieve mental clarity, inner peace, and overall happiness.

At Modern Mind Clinic, we will work directly with you to develop a comprehensive treatment plan that may include psychotherapy, mindfulness, lifestyle changes and medicine as needed. As part of our patient-centered approach, we are always just a phone call away to assist you between visits. Our goal is to make you feel at ease from day one by fostering a compassionate and judgement-free relationship. Patients benefit from a friendly and trusting environment where they receive the respect and personalized care they deserve. For added benefits, Modern Mind Clinic also offers TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation) for individuals who suffer from treatment resistant depression.

At Modern Mind Clinic, we know that choosing a psychiatrist for you or a loved one is not easy. We invite you to explore our website and contact us with any questions to help you decide if Modern Mind Clinic is the right treatment provider for you.

During this COVID-19 Pandemic, it may be difficult to access care. Because of the state-wide regulation changes, we are able to have most appointments via telehealth. In the near future, we can meet at our local clinic. It is with great privilege that we are able to assist you with your mental health needs.

Respectfully,
Modern Mind Clinic Team

Why Telehealth?

A telehealth appointment can make mental health care more convenient. It provides more flexibility for busy patients as well as providing faster services in urgent situations. Telepsychiatry offers a wider range of service options since patients do not need to be in the same location as their healthcare provider. Telehealth makes follow up appointments much easier and has increased the follow-up rates.

Telepsychiatry is more than just a phone call from a healthcare provider. It involves a face to face encounter even though the face of the other person is on a screen. A telehealth appointment can be used for evaluation or diagnosis, medication management, therapy, or patient education.

Will My Insurance Cover Telepsychiatry?

Most insurance companies cover telemedicine visits, including telepsychiatry. Check with your insurance company, and then find a healthcare provider who can meet your needs with telemedicine.
